15235 Vaticano with fascinating talk on Goa churches and Cathederals.
Apparently due to the Portuguese navigators, some of the most beautiful churches in the World were erected there. 15190 interesting talk on RCI about nuclear power plants in China. I'm all for nuclear power. 15190 Saudi Arabia on absorbing talk on use of waste water by thrird world farmers and its dangers. (All TX's beamed to Central Asia) Who said SW is dead? I get wonderful music and programming anytime of the day or night when I tune in. Enjoy your radio's lads and happy listening. Are your preparations for the Winter Solstice well underway? Do you refer to it as the Summer Solstice down under? dxAce Michigan USA- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Ya it's summer solstice down here around December 27th in my village according to the met service. Hot as hell here = 100F Summer reception here is never good and this year has been worse than normal. Plus they opened a supermarket only 500 yds away and the RFI here is now most depressing - S9 on most of the lower parts of the band. Equinox is the time for me and I have booked to go to Seefontein up the West coast on March 16th. Good DX JP |

These people who talk about SW being dead are just talking and are to lazy to DX. You get out of SW what you put in. I've been DXing for 44 years and have always loved it. To me DXing is just a way of life. I keep twp SW Radios here by my elbow and they are always on, I may turn them doing but I have them on same with my scanner. Burr Merry Christmas |
