You are answering the wrong question. dave asked to eliminate the profit motive from arms sales to government, not for Government to stop spending on arms. I don't know why dave would ask that. We all know that NO defense contractor has EVER overpriced ANYTHING they have sold to the US taxpayer. Even the lobbyists serve a valuable role. Politicians in general are so underpaid that they NEED all the free lunches they can get. mike |
