The "rich" control a greater proportion of the wealth so they only logically would pay of tax on said wealth. The wealth cannot be allowed to get so wealthy as to pose a threat to the Republic. The rich pay "Income" tax not wealth tax, therefore you are taxing them for being *PRODUCTIVE* and that means that they were the "most productive" since they paid the most tax. You are admitting things by your own beliefs. A wealth tax would be taxing assets not income. |
