Hello,
I work at night so I have time to listen to SW during the day. I

else listen to SW radio during the day?

This is not the best time for daytime short wave as we are still in a
sun spot minimum. If there was more sun activity the middle and high
bands would be very active. I can tell you it is generally poor out here
on the west coast. If you are central or east coast things will be
better for you than here.

These days the best times are on the lower bands from around sunset to
sunrise.

31 MB from Asia/Pacific local mornings is very active here in Greater
Ravenna.

They operate a part-time schedule and the only freq I can get in is
7415 before dark here in SC. Their 5110 freq is virtually useless.

www.wbcq.com for their programming schedule.

Seems the Spanish shortwave stations come in good during the day, and
the English stations aren't worth **** unless you enjoy Melissa/Gene
Scott preaching on 11775.

Tonight I was doing some work in the room away from my regular station
and listened to some friends on 80m on the E1 in there. If I'm listening
to daytime HF I occasionally monitor some aviation or maritime UTEs.
