No shipping to Canada? I'd like to bid.

International Postal money orders make life easy..and USPS is cheaper
than UPS. The Post Office doesn't abuse the packages as much, either.
usually..

With the proper crystals for the SWBC bands, an R-4B makes a very nice receiver.

PBT, preselector, IF notch, etc.

And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville Technical Institute.
They've hired at least one dufus who once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows,
there may be more dufi there.

I had an R-4C for a while, it didn't work too well, it needed work. I
was able to sell it almost instantly for a nice profit. I would like to
find another one, that actually works well, again some day. But I would
rather have a Hammarlund HQ-180A instead.

Thanks, but I have no money for any new toys right now. Besides, turning
the HQ-100 on alone makes this room about 5 degrees warmer in the spring
and summer, enough to take it from "okay" to "miserable". A bigger tube
rig would end up being a very heavy paperweight.

serious question, do you really think I don't have the receivers I

own several.

ROTFL. You need to learn to read with comprehension, Telemundoh. My HQ-
100 makes the room uncomfortable in the summer, so a larger radio, WITH
MORE TUBES IN IT, would make the room even warmer, so I would never use
it half the year or more, making it an expensive, big paper weight. If I

Wow, you've really gone 'round the bend. Hilarious.

I guess the concept of a bigger radio = more heat is beyond your
comprehension.

I'll have to post a vid to youtube video of my rigs, just for you. Don't
hold your breath, lunatic, since I don't have a camcorder right now.
Knowing you, you'll claim they belong to someone else, and I just
"borrowed" them, or some other tap dancing lunacy you can dream up.

Or I could just have Fred Osterman call you from Universal Radio, and
tell you I've been a customer there since 1984, and spent a lot of money
there for radios and RTTY equipment you claim I've never owned, but that
would be awkward, explaining there's a loon on usenet who "thinks" I
don't own any of the many receivers I've bought from him over the last
25 years.

I've even been taken on the "cat tour" by his wife. If you don't know

you'll be buying into? FEMA camps? Autoracks with chains in them being

At one time, I considered adding a Q-Multiplier to the HQ-180AC but
never got around to it. I did have a HC-10 hooked into the SP-600 and it
was a fairly good combo but I had problems with audio pops coming off

I've only used Hammarlunds and the Motorola R-390A and did pick up any

How is the National NC-125?

Pretty good site there Steve. That amount of money for the 180 is
crazy though IMO.

With the proper crystals for the SWBC bands, an R-4B makes
a very nice receiver.

And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville

once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows, there may be
more dufi there.

was able to sell it almost instantly for a nice profit. I
would like to find another one, that actually works well,

Thanks, but I have no money for any new toys right now. Besides,
turning the HQ-100 on alone makes this room about 5 degrees
warmer in the spring and summer, enough to take it from "okay" to
"miserable". A bigger tube rig would end up being a very heavy
paperweight.

You would not know what to do with it.

Poor Telemundoh, tripping the kook fantastic. I have to ask you a
serious question, do you really think I don't have the receivers I
claim to have? I've been listening to SW radio for about 45 years,
Telemundoh, and have owned many top of the line receivers, and still
own several.

Are you really that far gone you can't look at my old posts? Well, it
shouldn't surprise me, with your Obama BC delusions and all.

What a kooktard. Your only comment on a classic tube radio is it makes
the room to warm in the summer and it's a paper weight. Poor baby.

If I
don't use a radio, I usually don't keep it. I have 3 main rigs already,
the two NRD's and the Kenwood, so I don't need any more receivers right
now.

What you have is a great imagination not radios and if you did they
would be paperweights to you.

Wow, you've really gone 'round the bend. Hilarious.

I guess the concept of a bigger radio = more heat is beyond your
comprehension.

I'll have to post a vid to youtube video of my rigs, just for you. Don't

Or I could just have Fred Osterman call you from Universal Radio, and
tell you I've been a customer there since 1984, and spent a lot of money
there for radios and RTTY equipment you claim I've never owned, but that
would be awkward, explaining there's a loon on usenet who "thinks" I
don't own any of the many receivers I've bought from him over the last
25 years. *

I've even been taken on the "cat tour" by his wife. If you don't know
about the cats, go to the website.

Like a little kid, or your fellow slow adults, everything has to be
spelled out to the nth degree with you poor *******s.

So I'll explain this to you.

Have you put on your tinfoil helmet yet? I hope you have a new upgraded
one with the tri metal foil in it, or the Baritol rays will kook what
little brain matter you've got left..

First thing you need to understand is that you are a clueless asshole.

That would be a better description of you, Telemundoh.

The next thing you need to understand is you
are not not using the same lexicon as the other people in the news
group.

Again, this describes you much better than it does me.

This together with an immense reading comprehension problem
guarantees that communication of concepts won't happen.

I read fine, Telemundoh. So what will be the next kooktardic conspiracy
you'll be buying into? FEMA camps? Autoracks with chains in them being
prisoner transports with shackles in them?

Telemundoh: All kooktardery, all the time.

A well-tuned HQ-180AC with noise immunizer is a sweet deal. I had one
for several years before finally selling it about 2 years back. That
being said, I found my SP-600 to be better for MW DXing as the crystal
phase did a terrific job of dropping off adjacent stations. When I was
in Montreal, I managed to pick up Saudi Arabia on 1521 kHz and had to
contend with Buffalo on 1520 kHz. My R-390A and HQ-180AC couldn't quite
get rid of the slop from Buffalo but the SP-600 dropped it out nicely.

Now that is the piece that I have always wanted and eventually I'll
get one, the SP-600. I've read about all the different models though,
which model do you have? I had the opportunity to use the SP- 600 that
was the military grade, what a fine receiver.

one with the tri metal foil in it, or the Baritol rays will kook what
little brain matter you've got left..

Thanks, but I have no money for any new toys right now.
Besides,
turning the HQ-100 on alone makes this room about 5 degrees
warmer in the spring and summer, enough to take it from
"okay" to
"miserable". A bigger tube rig would end up being a very
heavy
paperweight.

You would not know what to do with it.

Poor Telemundoh, tripping the kook fantastic. I have to ask you a
serious question, do you really think I don't have the receivers
I

years,
Telemundoh, and have owned many top of the line receivers, and
still
own several.

Are you really that far gone you can't look at my old posts?
Well, it
shouldn't surprise me, with your Obama BC delusions and all..

What a kooktard. Your only comment on a classic tube radio is it
makes
the room to warm in the summer and it's a paper weight. Poor baby.

ROTFL. You need to learn to read with comprehension, Telemundoh.. My
HQ-
100 makes the room uncomfortable in the summer, so a larger radio,
WITH
MORE TUBES IN IT, would make the room even warmer, so I would never
use
it half the year or more, making it an expensive, big paper weight.
If I
don't use a radio, I usually don't keep it. I have 3 main rigs
already,
the two NRD's and the Kenwood, so I don't need any more receivers
right

Don't
hold your breath, lunatic, since I don't have a camcorder right now..

We are well steeped in your kookery due to the plethora of kooky posts.

Not nearly as kooky as your posts, Telemundoh.

I wonder where his next kooktardic trip will take him. FEMA camp?
I think Telemundoh should take a trip to Beech Grove this summer,
and post a report. Could be a lot of laughs.

See, that is what I am talking about when it comes to your posts.
So anyone that simply doesn't question why the US Gov't has and is
continuing to build more camps.....they're weird? They're just
building them......because? I've been to Beech Grove, been there
twice and also at one time knew someone (he's dead now) that worked
at the Amtrack facility. There is just simply NOTHING and I mean
NOTHING that will uncover your eyes about anything.

You seem to be unable to separate nonsensical claims, like Beech
Grove (And others on the list, such as Camp Perry) is a concentration
camp, from other, sane claims. I don't have that problem. If you
can't filter the kooktardic from the rational, ask someone who can.

Now this is funny, a Kookaburra is going to straighten us out and give
yus the lowdown on what is real.

You believe in the Obama BC kooktardery, so you obviously need help.

Our government just simply loves us, and surely would never do
anything to hurt us, much less kill anyone, do you notice my
sarcasm?

Yes, and it's kind of funny. Even funnier is you think I believe
that.

No telling what is bouncing around in that empty head Kookaburra.

Coming from an Obama BC kooktard, that's a good one.

Hey guy, I don't want to believe that anything funny has ever went
on before.....or that something ominous is in the workings.

LOL, if I was the paranoid type, I would almost think you're
Telemundoh's sockpuppet.

Gee, I didn't expect you would figure it out that fast. I'm impressed.

If your life is maintained easier by your way of thinking, that's
fine. But it doesn't mean that anyone who simply thinks other than
you is weird or a kook.

Is everything black and white with you? There are shades of grey, you
know?

Those are Kookaburra shades of grey, which are invisible to normal
human beings.

Sadly, you aren't normal. Maybe you were at one point, but no Obama BC
story believer can call themselves normal.

I'll just say this. If I had to make a bet, my bet is that he wasn't

nothing. Back to the birth certificate thing one more time, there is
some where on this planet, record of the original birth certificate.

I had laminated my own S.S. card, I didn't know that in the "eyes of
the law in Ohio" that it made it void - - so I had to get another one.
I asked the ladies down at the S.S. office about the birth certificate

the three - the one lady said nothing - but the other two said exactly
what I said earlier. That "somewhere"....there is either the original
- - or a duplicate of the original. She said it is just "common
sense"......it doesn't just go away. She continued to say that what
was shown as his proof could have been done anywhere by anyone at
anytime. When I left there, it kind of cemented it in my head the way
they chuckled and what they said when the "case of the missing orginal
Obama certificate" thing happened/still happening. That gives me cause
to think he wasn't born in the USA. But it doesn't matter, he could've
been born on Mars, he is our president now.

Ah. OK - there we go. I think you now showed the difference between
our thinking. To me, there is no grey BDK, not with things of this
nature that we are speaking about now. When I see with my own eyes and
read documents from the freedom of information act and see the plans
that have been implemented and have already been OK'd and these camps
are either built and waiting for people somewhere at sometime or are
in the process of beeing built, it gives me a pause for concern. When
there is a piece of land (you can do your own homework) that has
hundreds of thousands of simple coffins stacked one on top of each
other.....it is cause for concern. When the majority, if not all of
these camps, are built right next to railroad tracks and at many of
these facilities - -- you can plainly see that the trains are marked
military, that is cause for concern.

Five- - six years ago, during the summer, I went to our local Frisch's
restaurant down in the village. When I pulled in I noticed two army
trucks in the parking lot and many guys sitting outside eating. As I
walked towards them, I could hear them talking, and just about
everyone I saw talking were all foreign. {?} To me, that is cause for
concern. Foreign troops, not only in our country, but in my village.
There is a lot of military activity in our area because the stretch of

That I believe the govt wouldn't lie, kill, etc. I didn't think it was
difficult to understand.

Hey guy, I don't want to believe that anything funny has ever went on
before.....or that something ominous is in the workings.

LOL, if I was the paranoid type, I would almost think you're
Telemundoh's sockpuppet.

Quit it. You can come at me with better than that. That was almost
dissapointing.

Aw come on, it was good.

If your life is maintained easier by your way of thinking, that's fine. But it
doesn't mean that anyone who simply thinks other than you is weird or
a kook.

Is everything black and white with you? There are shades of grey, you
know?

Whoo-hoo. I don't know what to say. It's too much. LOL. Now you're
scaring me, and making me laugh at the same time.

There is a lot of military activity in our area because the stretch of
road that it goes to.

Not to mention his Obama BC nonsense. That belief alone moves him to the

What is nonsense about that? I'm not going to get into all that again,
but what is wrong with questioning the fact that every record of his
has magically been sealed and no one can look at it? Just because
someone doesn't open their mouth wide and close their eyes and wait
for the next spoonful doesn't mean they're weird. OTOH, if I would
think anyone was weird, it'd be the ones who look to the Messiah with
mouths half opened, just absolutely totally mesmerized....lol....that
really is all I can do is laugh out loud or just shake my head. You
buy it all? Cool, that's fine I guess.

What am I supposedly buying? That Obama was born in Hawaii? Yes, that I
totally believe. What records have supposedly been closed? You can't
look at my BC either, so was I born in Kenya too?

I'll just say this. If I had to make a bet, my bet is that he wasn't
born in this country. None of that matters anymore though, so that is
a closed issue with me. When the "people hunting Obama" tried to get
his records from school, particularly college, zitch- nada- nothing. I
just wonder why it is that when people tried to get info that any
other presidents we had.....would come up with....but with Obama -
nothing. Back to the birth certificate thing one more time, there is
some where on this planet, record of the original birth certificate.

I had laminated my own S.S. card, I didn't know that in the "eyes of
the law in Ohio" that it made it void - - so I had to get another one..
I asked the ladies down at the S.S. office about the birth certificate
thing with Obama because I had to produce my ORIGINAL. They would not
accept anything other than a duplicate of the ORIGINAL - - if you did
not have in your posession your original birth certificate. I have my
original but keep it locked up in a safe with other documents, but I
also have a duplicate of the orginal. Three ladies in that office all
laughed about it like they knew different, like since they do that for
a living and know more than most about things of that nature, out of
the three - the one lady said nothing - but the other two said exactly
what I said earlier. That "somewhere"....there is either the original
- - or a duplicate of the original. She said it is just "common
sense"......it doesn't just go away. She continued to say that what
was shown as his proof could have been done anywhere by anyone at
anytime. When I left there, it kind of cemented it in my head the way
they chuckled and what they said when the "case of the missing orginal
Obama certificate" thing happened/still happening. That gives me cause
to think he wasn't born in the USA. But it doesn't matter, he could've
been born on Mars, he is our president now.

You seem to be unable to separate nonsensical claims, like Beech Grove
(And others on the list, such as Camp Perry) is a concentration camp,
from other, sane claims. I don't have that problem. If you can't filter
the kooktardic from the rational, ask someone who can.

Thank God for google archives is all I can say.

Our government just simply loves us, and surely would never do
anything to hurt us, much less kill anyone, do you notice my sarcasm?

Yes, and it's kind of funny. Even funnier is you think I believe that.

And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville

Poor baby.

If I
don't use a radio, I usually don't keep it. I have 3 main rigs already,
the two NRD's and the Kenwood, so I don't need any more receivers right
now.
What you have is a great imagination not radios and if you did they
would be paperweights to you.

Like a little kid, or your fellow slow adults, everything has to be
spelled out to the nth degree with you poor *******s.
So I'll explain this to you. First thing you need to understand is that
you are a clueless asshole. The next thing you need to understand is you
are not not using the same lexicon as the other people in the news
group. This together with an immense reading comprehension problem
guarantees that communication of concepts won't happen.

Telemundoh: All kooktardery, all the time.
BDK all trolling retard all the time.

Telemundoh, there are times when I think that you can't be a bigger
idiot than you are. And then you go prove me wrong.
I think you are the idiot for buying the BDK line.

Spoken like a true conspiracist. The only lines that you know involve
white powder and your nose and that would explain most of your BS.

I don't do drugs and if you think the BDK guy is OK there has got to be

Oh my. The frequency readout also. You make me jealous, I wish you

thirty because I wouldn't be up that high, how high does it go BTW? I

have others you use more? Just curious.

The radio receives up to 54 MHz. Yeah, the freq. instability isn't
really an issue as I rarely tune past 22MHz.

My Drake R8B sees every day use but the SP-600 sees more use during the
winter than the summer. The SP cranks out a lot of heat! When I'm
traveling, I like to use the Sony 7600GR. It's a great little portable.
