Monitoring the above this afternoon,Mar.30, it was noted that, as per
earlier agreement, most, if not all SW stations have moved from the range 7105-7350 Hkz to a range from 7205-7450 Khz. Only one powerhouse was noted below 7200 Khz, and amateur radio activity has picked up somewhat today. From 7205 up there were quite a number of SW station heard but the band was very noisy today, as it has been for some time. Some hams have also commented on this. This move is win-win. Hams get a 100 Khz extension of hopefully interference free operating space while SW station get an official extension of 100 Khz, to 7450 Khz, although some were already operating there.
