31 meter band

Last night (or early this morning), I was getting Radio New Zealand on 9885,
with my Yaesu VR-500 and a RS Extendable antenna. The amazing thing was that
the antenna was totally collapsed at the time and I was getting 3 bars out
of ten on the S-meter. Fantastic!! Eric KA6USJ Approx 38N 122W.
