There are some old Bell UH 1 Helicopters on permanent display here in
Mississippi, at least two that I know of.One of them is at a Mississippi Army National Guard place, about two miles South of doggy's couch.(South is always Best) Another one is at the Mississippi Vietnam Veterans Memorial Museum on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. http://members.tripod.com/psysim/msvn.html My eight years older brother was a Helicopter Mechanic at Vung Tau,Vietnam, 1964, his second Tour of Duty in Vietnam following a year in Germany. One Sunday I caught the Chaplin Run to go visit him. I am a Ground Pounder, I don't like to fly.I likes to keep my feetises planted on solid ground. If God had meant for me to fly, he would have given me wangs.I am fixin to get back on the ground now, jacking up and blocking up and leveling up my old red neck trailer. Gee, I don't have a flack jacket. cuhulin |
