I expect this sort of thing to happen with the Obomination as president.
Things will probably get much worse. Expect to be persecuted for being
Christian one of these days.

The sooner the better. Religion is the downfall of mankind.

But have no fear there will still be plenty of the
good old Trash Christianity PBS and NPR
Programming featuring hidden themes like :
* Was Jesus and the Disciples Really Gay
* Jesus the Socialist and Revolutionary
* The Gospel of Mary
* The Gospel of Judas
* The Da Vinci Code
* Art 101 - Painting Jesus By The Numbers
Using Elephant Dung
* Whats Wrong With Christianity Today

Please Note NPR and PBS never has done a
"Trash" Islam, Buddhism, or Judaism Program
as it would clearly be seen as Bias and Bigoted.

BUT BASHING CHRISTIANS : THAT"S JUST
GOOD LIBERAL SECULAR FUN ~ RHF
.
.

The POS Christians have flooded the NCE FM band with their 24/7 begathon
translators, spewing hatred and ringing in the bongo bucks, while
crowding out the Community Radio stations who are not funded by
megachurches. You have a lot of nerve complaining about a government
subsidised network wanting to represent all Americans fairly.

Funny, but I can't find anyone but this one wingnut website mentioning this
(and a few others quoting it verbatim), and I notice that none of them
include any references that we can look at ourselves.

I guess some people will just take *anything* on faith.

It would appear so. *The article is indeed all over the net, and all
are identical *Going to the NPR Home Page and nosing around, some
interesting facts about NPR are stated:

http://www.npr.org/about/nprworks.html

"NPR was incorporated in 1970 pursuant to the Public Broadcasting Act
of 1967, but it is not a government agency. NPR is not a radio station
itself NOR DOES IT OWN ANY radio stations, but NPR programs can be
heard on more than 860 public radio stations across the United
States."

And

http://www.npr.org/about/

"A PRIVATELY SUPPORTED, not-for-profit membership organization, NPR
serves a growing audience of 27.5 million Americans each week in
partnership with more than 860 independently operated, noncommercial
public radio stations."

Reading DonkeyDoo's cite in the original post we see that the writer
used the phrase "...In explaining its decision in a similar matter,
PBS -- another federally funded media outlet -- ". *Another FEDERALLY
funded outlet? *Looks like the writer of DonkeyDoo's cite is not up to
speed on things.

Didja' ever wonder how Urgan Legends begin?

RO

"This episode raises sobering questions,"
said then-Senator Bob Dole (R.-Kansas),
"not only for NPR, but for the taxpayer-funded
Corporation for Public Broadcasting {CPB},
which has oversight authority over NPR and
provides much of its funding."

I guess the US Congress is the $ource of one
of Urban Legends. ~ RHF

If you had carefully read the cite I gave, you would also see that PBS
accounts for less than 2 percent of NPR funding.

To have aired programming free of the subtle religious hints
would be truly shocking, I applaud them if they can pull it off.

Yeah, since all law is based on moral religious grounds it kicks the
foundation out from under a nation founded on the rule of law.

onenewsnow, huh? *That's Don Wildmon's "news" site. You'll never see
anything on it that DOESN'T have something to do with religion (mostly how
everyone is out to destroy Christianity).

You don't think there is any validity to that BA? The destroying of
Christianity?

You think there is any validity that there are people who would love to
see the end of Christianity?

One of these days, why not today?
So now your lunacy is referenced to an underlying cause,
not too surprising it would be xianity.

I know that you have never heard of church burnings, defacements,
destruction. It's never happened right? Go stick your red pointy eared
head back in the sand.

Faith is the core of voodoo,
only works if you believe it,

And you have faith in the antichrist. Have fun.

Like the bumper wisdom sticker;
"god said it, I believe it, that settles it"

Sounds like global warming to me. You see we actually all have "faith".
The retards have "faith" in godless things and deceptions created to
further mislead them down the path of destruction. By all means continue
to revel in your absurdity but don't expect others to follow like
lemmings to the stupid nonsense you post.

Nonsectarian does not equal nonreligious. Why do you lie so?

I just watched a PBS documentary on prayer two days ago.

And then there was Bill Moyers hour-long
documentary on "Amazing Grace". Nothing says
"war on Christianity" like a show documenting
the origins and versions of a Christian hymn.
