Atlantis Looks Toward California Landing
Sun, 24 May 2009 07:06:40 AM PDT

Mission control has decided a Florida landing today is a "no go"
due to weather around the landing site but they will continue to target
the landing at Edwards on the 197th orbit, putting touchdown in
California at 11:39 a.m. Deorbit burn would come at 10:24 a.m.

Oh yeah, I didn't just hear it, I felt it. It shook the whole place.

It rattled the windows a little. Sometimes it's like you're inside a
subwoofer. I love this place!

That's funny. Now I know what it's like to be inside a subwoofer.
California has a lot of entertainment value.

I lived in Ridgecrest and Trona forever. Motorhome and cars are still there
and I hope when the stocks pick up to come back to Red Mountain or
Ridgecrest.

Back in the 1980s, local tv news said the Space Shuttle, mounted on top
of the Airplane that was carrying it, will be flying low over Jackson.I
think tv news said Parham Bridges Park.(Whichever City area Park it was)
I was there and so were a lot of people were there.I saw it flying right
over our heads.
