cuhulin

It is completely "fly-by-wire";no rudder, no stick, no pedals. You
use a video game controller to fly the thing.

It does have trimmers that can be used in an emergency, according to an
FAA spokesperson.

I wonder how much they practice actually flying with these trimmers...

The plane appears to have exploded.

Not necessarily, A plane that falls from its cruise altitude virtually
disintegrates on impact.

The debris is scattered over 40 miles of ocean. The cabin lost pressure
at the same time the electrical system failed.

The debris is scattered over 5 km of ocean, about 30 hours after the
incident. Oceans have currents, the atmosphere above them has winds. The
plane could have done a full vertical nose dive and the floating pieces
would, 30 hours later, be widely dispersed.

The BBC said 60 km. Suspect a coverup. Hijacking would make the
President look bad.

And/or anything else that smells like international chaos.
