Mike,
I mounted my BC 245 in my pickup this afternoon. Been wanting to do that
for a year so I got it done. While I was there I drained and flushed the
radiator and put "summer coolent" in, nice green.
I'm going to try to change oil tomorrow. We just had about a 4 inch raid
and looks like we have a little storm coming in the next few days.

I'll get some DXing done when I getaroundtoit. I enjoy DXing but it
takes time and I stay so busy I don't know how I ever had time to work.

I get my physcal this week so that will take two days BUT, if like Dec.
I'll be a "Perfect Man". How's you diabetes, trying to stay as close to
120-130 as I can. I lift and cycle all week also. My mouth keeps my sugar
up.

I usually take my ICOM IC-2GAT 2-meter HT with me in the auto. Have it programmed
with local public service stuff.

Had the darn thing since '90 or so and it's still like new.

I asked for "Anti Freeze" and blew their minds (what they have)

It stays around 90-95 most of the days, nights are around 85. Humidity says
about 99. The fans in the house will ring the water out of the air at times,
that's funny. (blowing water)

Been there and done that, as you know, Cuz!

Kinda the opposite is Africa, in places, where humidity is a premium.

Getting ready here to get the AC unit in the window as it may just really get
hot in the next week or so.

Lake levels are back up to their long term averages.

Sometimes those Helicopters in Vietnam looked like flying water
sprinklers, wringing that moisture out of the air and blowing it
downward. The weather over there is always hot and very humid, all day
long and all night long.I was at Shannon Wright Compound
www.114thaviationcompany.com for about three months and then
I was transfered to Tan Son Nhut for the rest of my year over there in
1964. www.tsna.org

Every time I took a shower bath, as soon as I turned off the water I was
sweating again.I guess the weather further North of Saigon might be
cooler, up in the hills/mountains.

In the Summertime, the weather gets hot and humid here too, but not as
humid as in Vietnam.Sometimes, it gets over 100 degrees here.It gets to
be a real ''burner''. www.wxusa.com/wx1/Jackson-MS.htm

JT and Dave www.supertalkms.com used to argure back and forth with
each other on their radio talk show, just like two kindergarten kids.I
think Paul Gallo told them to cool it!

That's because we have been on a cooling trend for more than a decade.
It's colder here in the summer than when I first moved out here to the
west coast.

It's a good thing we have all that Al Gore hot air going around or the
coming ice age would already be here.

We may have hit the solar cycle bottom this summer. The next few months
will tell. The SW reception will improve and we will probably go back to
a small warming trend that will freak out all the clowns in the global
warming crowd. Even though it is the sun continuing to control the
earths climate the global warming clowns will insist it is man according
to their ego centric group think. Pass the KooL-Aid.

I've often said that summer does not come to Michigan until July 4 and lasts

But, the sun shines, and the grass is green!

Since I have lived in southern California the average temperatures have
gone down 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in Ventura. The summers especially are
much cooler than they used to be.

I worked on my 1978 Dodge van today.(it hasen't ran since last September
when I bought my new old fancy 1983 Dodge RV van) I got my 1978 Dodge
van where it will crank up and run, but the gas tank ran out of
gas.Tomorrow I have to get three of those flat tires fixed and I will
buy some gas to put in the van's gas tank.

Then I sat on the back end of my trailer under the shade trees and I
peeled and I ate five oranges.

S.it! this heat and humidity is killing me! I am fixin to take a bath
and rig up some supper.
