Icom R-75 control program screenshot.
This is a screenshot of an Icom R-75 being controlled by the Linux
version of 'TK75'. http://scotiabunk.com/Icom75.png It's a script based program which can be adapted to W*ndows, Mac or Linux. You have to have the TCL/TK stuff installed first. The separate menus are of the 'tear off as needed' variety. Open a menu, and then, if desired, detach them from the main graphic and place them wherever you want, one at a time or all of them. The operating/installation instructions aren't too clear for the Ubuntu variety, so it took me a while to figure out what was wrong. The program and overview may be found he http://parnass.org/tk75/ mike -- __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / /\ / / / /\ \/ /\'Think tanks cleaned cheap' /\ \/ / /_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ \/_/ Densa International© For the OTHER two percent. Due to the insane amount of spam and garbage, I block all postings with a Gmail, Google Mail, Google Groups or HOTMAIL address. I also filter everything from a .cn server. Fldigi will decode various digital modes including CW. |

I figure the R75 being so far away from the operating chair on the floor next to the door makes it hard to read the small lettering on the front panel. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
