Hi MIke,

First off welcome to the board. You sound like a guy who knows what he
IS talking about, so it is great to have a little more expertise here
on RRS for the benefit off all! Now, in relation to your above
comments, can I please reiterate what you stated in regard to the
Grundig. I HAVE just purchased the G6 and on first impressions, this
unit is simply fantastic. I have been testing it non-stop all day, and
at THIS stage, I have nothing but praise for it. Also of note is the
fact that it is also the special Buzz Aldrin limited edition, so in my
opinion it could be worth quite a bit as a collectors item in years to
come. Anyway summing up, for the price I paid for the G6, in
combination with its build quality and range of features, I consider
this particular unit to be in the top 5 of shortwaves currently
available on the market.
