I'm almost as ancient as you, and aside from Craftsman tools, McIntosh
amps, and Zippo lighters, I can't think of anything with a
no-questions-asked lifetime guarantee.

I own some old Zippo lighters, and also some old weird lookin lighters,
and also some old weird lookin ash trays, and also an old ash tray stand
which has a Greyhound Dog for a handle.Some of those old thingys like
that are Very Collectible nowadays.

I remember Radio Shack "Lifetime" tubes.. a lifetime warrantee that simply
vanished when it became inconvenient to continue it.

Nowadays I use those cheapo disposable lighters, I buy them in packs of
ten or twelve at the Wal Mart store.Use em up and throw them away.
It's a disposable World out there.

Radio Shack will still replace the tubes it sold with a lifetime
warranty. However, the replacement tubes. in general, will not have
