It was called "Kennedy-Castro - The Secret History." I have seen every show ( I thought ) on the subject of the Cuban Missile Crisis or on the the Kennedy's for that matter. But apparently not or it was a new show. I never had heard of the ABC journalist/reporter Lisa Howard before and it was a fascinating story on how she almost brought the two countries together. It looked like she and Pres.Kennedy were literally within weeks/months to make that happen....and then of course he was assasinated. I wonder if the U.S. will ever make amends with Cuba....or if this has even been thought of by the new administration. That country literally looks like it's frozen in the time of the 60's, pretty sad IMO. Anyone have any opinion on the matter in response to ever lifting sanctions against Cuba? Sanctions? In reality we are one of the big traders with Cuba. And, virtually the rest of the world trades with Cuba. The 'sanctions' are merely a hoax used by the Casto 'tard boys. dxAce Michigan USA DxDufus, The only 'tard going around is yourself. If you're going to put down something about a country be sure that you actually know something of the situation. The sanctions work on inflicting poverty on the people but are an absolute and miserable failure on getting rid of the Cuban government. Well, I certainly haven't seen you Canucks all up in arms and ready to invade! (That would be a funny sight though!) Would want to invade for what reason, DxDrunkDufus? Cuba, like the Vietnamese bloodied your noses and then some. Your government made nice with the Vietnamese so why not do the same with Cuba? Cuba poses no threat to the USA. But in reality (not that you are aware of reality) it is only the regime of the 'tard boy Castro's who is inflicting anything on the Cuban people. Which explains why aspects of their medical system are better the USA's. It ain't Castro causing the problems - you can only milk so much out of the people and the Cuban people don't have much to give these days. The embargo, however, is doing the damage. I can't wait to see what happens when China has a military base or two in Cuba. But I certain can imagine you ****ting your Depends and thinking it might be smarter to have brought into the fold instead of trying to keep it isolated. Lay off the booze, old man. You need to sobre up and start thinking. I certainly don't want to start thinking like you, a dumbass Canuck! |
