****** What happened to new Ham Brian and his Grundig Aviator G6 (Special Buzz Aldrin LIMITED Edition)? Perhaps he has disappeared up his own fundimental oriface. Just let me explain something to you Ole' Mighty Larb so you don't give "someones" in here reason to pick apart your posts in response to a "ham." Brian isn't/wasn't/nor will ever be a 'ham' so too speak. He is/ or was trying to make people think he was/is a SWL (Short Wave Listener.) Not that there is anything wrong with just being a SWL....I could have passed the HAM test fifty times over, but I don't feel the need (at least for now) to TX (meaning Transmit- meaning key up and talk to someone.) I just like listening as most do in this group but there are some HAMS in here also. Just saying. |

Solid state LPTV is pretty easy as there are are no stages that aren't broadbanded. There is very little tuning, even with a tube amp. AM directionals have "constants" that are determined by a PE or some such. |
