We have a group known as the "Eastgate Locals"....group of young adults and older fellas that drive around the Eastgate area talking mobile and then they may get together on the weekends and go to Bob Evans or another restaurant in the area. During the winter months or when the snow or freezing rain are pelting the area, I'll keep it on channel nineteen and give the drivers a heads up on the road conditions or give them a hand navigating some of these country roads. Once the winter months end, the base goes off. |
