Now you're concerning me. Oxycontin depresses the central nervous
system, you go to sleep...and you may never wake up. A very treacherous
drug.

He's got some extreme back pain. That alone can be debilitating.

I on the other hand am prepared to take a few prisoners. Maybe 9 or 10
or so...however many will fit in the crawlspace beneath my house.

Oh, you're not even trying. Gacy got 33 in there.

Nothing but hard lumpy dirt under the crawl space of my house, so hard
its almost like concrete, dirt and clay soil.I use my cheapo knee pads I
bought at the Lowe's store when I need to crawl around under there.I
have to watch out! if I raise my head up too high, those floor boards
nails might git me! I have a head band strap on LED head light and also
a cap which has built in LED lights, I bought them at the Lowe's store
too.They come in handy sometimes.

Well, maybe...kinda...sorta...

Severe back pain can be very difficult to control. Furthermore, it is
relatively easy to unwittingly get the monkey on your back. Just happens
in the normal course of treatment. And if you are on other drugs (or
alcohol -- as Lare was occasionally known to do), well, watch out! See
my statement above about going to sleep and waking up dead. :-(

Heh, that married Irish woman wayyyyyyy over yonder across the big pond,

If that's the case, he needs to go to Pain Management and get an
epidural corticosteroid injection.

I offered advice. I have some experience.

If chronic pain, have you gone to a clinic that specializes in that

Yes, I have gone to a clinic. Good results there until recently, but

He WAS going to a pain management clinic. Sometimes, they make you sign
a contract not to use any other meds. I'm strictly reading between
the lines here, but it almost sounds like the pain clinic dumped him for
violating the contract...??? (just a guess)
