Actually, the "Jesus" in the Bible tales is highly unlikely ever to
have existed, but taking the stories at face value I find no
statement from him demanding that property or wealth be taken from
one group of people and forcibly given to another -- which is the
practical essence of state socialism.

He did say, "Slaves, obey your masters," though -- so perhaps I am
wrong and he was a socialist after all.


I thought it was the Republicans that were building the bridge to the
