Greetings: from WWRB shortwave.......
We posted a video of a Four Course Radio Range station that we have placed on the air here at the WWRB shortwave transmitter facility. As you are aware, WWRB shortwave is also a private airport: ROSEANNE : The runway is Co -located with the WWRB transmitter facility. We have on site: a ILS, VORTAC, & NDB . The Four Course Radio Range was the electronic backbone aircraft navigation system used from 1928 to about 1963. We made the video a few weeks ago with actual in flight video & audio! We ask that you view our video and make whatever comments about it. The aircraft pilot magazine 'AOPA magazine' will have an article on our 'Range station in the June issue written by Barry Schiff Let us know what you think of the Video By the way...our NDB beacon is on 529 KHZ You can hear it on your car radio tuned at night time to 530 AM you will hear the Morse Code LYQ every 8 seconds.....The NDB beacon is located here at WWRB shortwave right next to the Runway, By the Glide slope facility. just down the Runway you can see it on the WWRB photo gallery check it out!
