According to the article,,, BP was tapping the second largest oil
deposit in the World.

If they can't get control/stop those leaks, I reckon they have destroyed
the Gulf of Mexico for many years to come.
I AM ****ED!!!

Frankly, this will hurt the little guy who owns your local station, and
their employees much more than it'll hurt BP.

The way it works in Connecticut (and probably in most parts of the
country) is there are central terminals where they have huge tanks.
When a tanker comes in, it fills whatever tank(s) have room, and whoever
supplied the gas gets paid. When a tank truck comes in to get gas for
delivery to your local station - no matter what brand it is, it's filled
from whatever tank they're currently emptying.

The difference is each brand has their own additives, so before they
fill up the tank truck with maybe 10k gallons, they put in a tiny amount
of the brand specific additives. (Kinda like adding salt to a hamburger)

Most of BP's money comes from filling the tanks before the gas is
branded.

A bunch of years ago I read somewhere, some of those above the ground
gas lines have some leaky valves. Some people go out there with pots and
pans/whatever, and they get free gas.

You gonna get free gas,,, you gonna get free money,,, you gonna get a
free house,,, gonna pay off your mortgage,,, you gonna get free health
care,,,,, you gonna get free this,,, you gonna get free that,,,,,,,,,,

fifteen years or more.I will Never buy anything at any BP gas stations

I think Castrol and Amoco are part of BP too.
BOYCOTT anything and everything that has anything to do with BP!

BP doesn't do any offshore oil drilling off the coast of Limeyland.I
HOPE the Gulf stream/current SMOTHERS Limeyland in oil!

I assure you, if Americans boycotted every BP station, in fact EVERY DAMNED
BRITISH PRODUCT OR SERVICE it would get their attention. BP's attitude from
the start has been arrogant and unsympathetic and every American should be
outraged. As late as yesterday...YESTERDAY !----a full 34 days after they
have filled the Gulf of Mexico with their
gushing oil they gave the US EPA the finger. The EPA asked them to use less
toxic dispersants and BP told us to shove it.

But, we'll just roll over and let them continue to stick it in us.

As for the local station owners: boo-hoo. If every one of them shut down I
gar-own-tee ya it would get the notice of the regional suppliers and trickle
up into where the real corruption begins...the top.

We are so acclimated to having damned messages sent to us by the assholes
that are running and ruining everything that it is overdue that we send a
few "messages" of our own.

Of course, Americans are way too gutless to do anything like general strikes
and boycotts. They've got us so fragmented and divided in this country that
none of us agree on anything anymore. So BP will happily continue to **** on
us knowing that such strikes and boycotts have effectively worked many times
elsewhere but the mind-dead Americans would never consider such a thing.

I sincerely feel for the good people of the Gulf Coast states not to mention
the disastrous effect on lives of animals, plants and the ecosystem.
Knuckleheads like Joe don't seem to understand that when one thing gets out
of balance it affects everything else. But he (and others) see no evil in
this will savor the flavor of the Kool Aid they're drinking.
