This station, R. Conakry, and several other African stations were
significantly improved early this morning around their local sunrise
(0430-0700z). The Southern African relays were booming in again, and
Conakry made a fair showing of itself. If conditions stay the same or
improve, some others may pop up too. I'd love to hear Afrique Numero
Une on 9580 again - been awhile.

Here in KY, ANU-Moyabi is pretty regular in the late afternoons around
2100 to 2200 UTC on 9580. Not hearing Gabon on any other frequency at
any time of the day. Around 0300 UTC, Ethiopia on 7110 and Sudan on
7200 are also pretty regular. Tunisia is strong on 7275 after 0500
UTC. Equatorial Guinea is solid in the afternoons with English
religious programs on 15190. CVI from Zambia shows up randomly at
different times of the day, propagation permitting.

Good for you, Mike! Here on the West Coast, we are largely in the
dark when it comes to Africa, although EQ Guinea and Tunisia show up a
lot. Ethiopia? Sudan? Moyabi? Just a dream - for now. Did hear
what I think was Ethiopia on 7165 one fine morning - and Uganada too
on 7195 - earlier this spring/winter, but that was a one-shot.

Have you heard Chad on 6165?

Once or twice during the Winter, but it's been awhile. BBC via
Meyerton has also been inaudible as of late.

Huh - I've been hearing lots from Meyerton (as recently as last
night), including Channel Africa, BBC and TWR if I am not mistaken. A
few off days when it storms, but generally there. Must be the
directionality...It is one of my most dependable catches! FWIW, I'd
rather hear the stuff you're getting :-)

For some reason, I cannot get the VoA Botswana relays very well the
last month. prior to that, they were regulars.
