Default R. Riyadh on 17.805

at 1151 UCT in arabic out of Riyadh. Gentleman talking, little bit of
interference, but not too bad. Registering a two on the meter....now
it's in the clear.

Ha! I don't know, I'd have to go back and check. I know it wasn't loud
at that time of day (from my post) but it was clear after maybe twenty
seconds of hash. Surely they don't run the same amount of wattage on
SW as they do the BCB, do they?

You heard them on 1520? Wouldn't that be 1519? That would be a great
catch to hear them on the BCB - good job.

John Plimmer told me that it was a good catch, he said that
1520(Arabia)dominates his area of the world with their huge power. I think
that they are 10KC apart. It was a very brief listen, maybe less than five
minutes, Arabic chanting, music, etc.
When I first heard it, I thought, "What the hell is this?" It was John who
verified it for me.

Aoki shows 500 kW beamed 295 degrees at that time.
