Ah yes! Here's a classic:

Sam was not a numbers or spy station.

I don't think it was proved one way or another what it was, but it had
the basics -maybe not in the usual order - 800ms data burst
transmission then the cartoon character voice.

Crap, while not 'spies' per se, the folks at NPR are certainly not working in
the interests of the USA.

Do you realize haw far from mainstream that sounds?

Haw! I don't think it's very far from 'mainstream' at all.

That's because WLS is shrinking your brain.

I know. It was supposed to be some guys testing a radio but it was a
poor choice of recording to do testing. Which makes you wonder: Was
there an alternate purpose to the transmissions? Were they trying to
attract attention?

Poor choice? That's pretty subjective.

They were obviously just looking to have fun, besides trying to test some
equipment.

Try it!

I'll leave that for the people with lots of money to blow.

They posted that NPR story. Never heard it on the air though:

To allege the nice folks at NPR are plotting against the USA is crazy.

The truth don't enter into it. I think the people that run WLS
(Citadel) are fascists. NPR just has a bunch of old hippies with bad
teeth, a group I can readily identify with.

NPR is so fair and balanced that if they do a spot on climate change,
they have a global warming denier on the show for balance. Basically,
they present both sides of the issue even if the other side is
bonkers.

The BBC has done bits on numbers stations over the years. I don't
recall NPR doing number stations in the past.

While we slept, America _became_ the Evil Empire, every bit as
harmful to her own people and the peoples of the West as the Soviet
Union ever was.

In fact, Russia today is more supportive of the survival of Western
civilization and its founding peoples than any other nation on
Earth. See

http://rt.com/Interview/2008-11-18/I...y_Rogozin.html

wherein Russia's ambassador to NATO publicly states:

"There is a new civilization emerging in the Third World that thinks
that the white, northern hemisphere has always oppressed it and must
therefore fall at its feet now. This is very serious. If the
northern civilization wants to protect itself, it must be united:
America, the European Union, and Russia. If they are not together,
they will be defeated one by one."

It is this principled, brave stand that has earned that nation all
the "hate Russia" propaganda that increasingly spews forth from the
major media, be they fake "liberal" media or fake "conservative" media.

With every good wish,

Kevin - I enjoy all your posts because they are always well thought
out and you're well spoken, the only thing I don't agree with you on
is your feeling towards Israel. I know what angle you're coming from
and please don't even bothering responding in the negative towards
that country when you talk to me, other than that I agree with you 99%
of the time.

The US will NEVER side with the Soviet Union, though it may be sold to
us that way through the media, ain't gonna happen. The Bible clearly
states that, but if you don't believe the Bible - then you're free to
piece together whatever scenarios and hopes.

I'd love to REALLY know the reasons/why/and to who - that YS was all
about. Many thought it was a prelude to something ominous happening.
Definitely one NS that will going into Number's Lore.
