We should give up on empire and put the defense budget into theme parks and monorails and Chinese lessons, so we can better serve our new masters. Actually, I don't have a problem using the military to remove despotic dictators and destroy the governmental systems they have set in place. I do protest stealing their oil and resources or exploiting them and that countries people. I will always have a problem with giving the rich elite tax payer dollars as corporate welfare ... right from the get-go! Regards, JS |

That's a fundamental error. Only because the people have been distracted from doing their civic duty. Bad media + Bad schools = Bad government Can't disagree with you there. Though I'd add that when nations turn into evil empires by becoming multiracial and multicultural, they lose their core beliefs, lose their coherence, and soon lose their feelings of belonging and caring for others -- then it's "every man for himself" and the end of civic life. When we use UAVs to kill babies that's ME with my hand on the joystick. Can't disagree with you there. When we allow Goldman Sachs to use bailout money to pay BILLIONS in bonuses, I sign the checks. Can't disagree with you there. And it's us signing the checks for Achmed's and MS-13's hugely subsidized sky-high birth rates, and invasions, too. If the government is not of, by and for, the people it is because I have shirked my responsibility to "keep it" as Benj. Franklin said of his gift of a "republic". Can't disagree with you there. And we have also shirked the responsibility to "our posterity," that the founders spoke of too -- which they explicitly defined as keeping our new nation for our own people -- our own race -- alone, and _leaving other nations alone_ to live as they see fit. The people have been distracted by selfishness and fear. They are lizard-brain mockeries of citizenship, and their unwillingness to endure the slightest bit of sacrifice tells me this POS country deserves to join Espana, the UK, and the Turks, on the ash heap of former world powers. We should give up on empire and put the defense budget into theme parks and monorails and Chinese lessons, so we can better serve our new masters. Can't disagree with you there, except for the last part. After we give up on empire, and give up on making the world safe for Israel (an impossible task anyway), there is still a core America worth loving and saving. But it can't be multiracial -- because if it was, it would still be an empire and still be one people ruled by another, always a formula for disaster. Look at Spain, one of your examples. Life has been pretty good since they gave up on world empire, and the dilution of White Spanish blood -- as long as the Muslims/Arabs are repatriated soon -- is no longer a danger. By shrinking their borders they ensure that the Spanish people will continue to exist. By giving up on empire they save themselves. The same is true among non-European peoples, for example in Israel. The saner ones there know that the only way their people will survive as a unique people is if they give up some conquered territory and allow the Palestinians to live in their own nation. By giving up on empire they save themselves. Greece teaches us the same lesson. Alexander's empire and the spread of Greek power and blood all over the Levant was a disaster for Greece and came close to causing her disappearance as a people. As a small nation with a fierce belief in, and defense of, her culture and gene-patterns and borders, she can (and, I hope, will) survive for another 3,000 years. But trying to "rule the world" earns you, not only the enmity of those you ruled (think payback by the Turks), but also loss of your own identity. And not only is it disgustingly dishonorable to shoot missiles into apartment buildings with drone aircraft, as America does now, but it is also a waste of a colossal amount of money which could be better spent on saving our forests and animals, on beautiful works of art, or on raising healthy, intelligent, and cultured children.
