Back in the 80's Bill Harrah (casinos Vegas, Reno) still had his old
car museum, close if not best in the world,
Didn't charge but peanuts to see it all.
Then he died and the kids, thankful for inheritance, announced ready
to sell.
I remember an expert stood up high platform with megaphone describing
anything about the cars when anyone asked.

Somehow a lot of it was saved and is still a decent exhibit.

The Grand Old "Harrah's Car Collection"

I remember the old Harrah's Car Collection [1400 Autos]
as being several large Warehouses out in Sparks, NV
that I visited in the 1960s and 1970s; back then it could
be an all day event do a morning walk-a-round and having
lunch and do an afternoon walk-a-round; we was slow
walkers and long-lookers with Cameras in hand.

Now what's left of the grand old Harrah's Car Collection of
about 200 Autos is call the "National Automobile Museum"
