They have a new directional antenna to NA using 6050

6000 kHz still coming in better than 6050 kHz here in the midwest @
0200UTC.

Jim (MI)

Interesting.
When he mentioned the new antenna I was on 6000, then switched to 6050 and
found it much better.
My location is 40N 100W and listen often around 0300z to 0500z, but not
daily. He's sounding fine on 6050 @ 0540z with 6000 barely audible.
He mentioned Western NA as the area where 6050 was intended, but I didn't
catch it exactly.
Antenna is a horizontal rooftop wire about 30 feet long plugged into the aux
antenna port of a 3 year old SW7600GR

I agree that after 0500UTC 6050 kHz is better. Sometimes after 0400
UTC. I am listening on a 66ft dipole facing N-S @ about 25 ft.
