You don't get a chance to go for your guns when bad guys kick down your door. They will find your guns and use them to shoot you. In my personal case, they will trigger alarms long before the door and yes, I will have the gun in my hand when they come through the door. Do you couch surf with your 9mm under the pillow? Frankly, I have gotten so used to the gun, the smallest 9mm made, http://www.rohrbaughfirearms.com/ , that yes, it is always in a shoulder holster, or in my pocket. When I sleep, there is a larger one, .45 cal., under my pillow ... When I was in the service, I slept with my rifle, in the field and on maneuvers, and it remained my constant companion during the day ... the wife doesn't like rifles in bed! ROFLOL But, you are correct, only in a few home invasions have I heard of the, would be, victim so alert and responsible ... I will admit, during the day, at home, I am a bit more relaxed ... hey, life is a gamble, I am just here to make sure the criminal takes the largest gamble. Regards, JS |
