Men in churches ask for money. Some do good things with the money and
feed/cloth/minister to the poor -- some build enormous, wear nice
cloths, donate to political candidates, etc.

So, you are lumping 3 things together: God, good men, and bad men.
Each of these things being quite different than the other two ...

That's an unnecessary burden on me (the paperwork, not the tax).
California should see to it that the retailer collects the fee at time
of purchase. This would make comparison shopping with local brick and
mortar more honest.

Actually, God gave us all rights possible. He did temper that with the
Ten Commandments though. But, I don't want to commit adultery, commit
murder, etc., so the Ten Commandments are a given with me -- indeed, I
consider the Ten Commandments MUST BE FOLLOWED just to be a good
neighbor to others!

All these possible rights God gave us with but a single decree ... that
we would have free choice ...

Men, even in churches, don't speak for God. He spoke for himself as
Jesus and though chosen prophets.
