No "Birth Certificate" in the Constitution
"John Smith" wrote in message ... On 1/20/2011 4:14 PM, dave wrote: It just says he must be a citizen and not conceived in a test tube. Actually, is says this: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." Since no one is left alive when the Constitution was adopted, HE MUST BE A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN ... which means he MUST have had his birth on American soil ... ....To parents BOTH of whom are U.S. citizens. That's where he FAILS. |
