Parents who are too stupid to give value to a College education should really consider the alternatives. Anyone too dumb to get a Locksmithing certificate could always get into the Navy, I suppose. From what I hear, being Gay, while not mandatory, helps you get accepted immediately. All things considered, A College graduation seems preferable. mike |

There seems to be a need for persons counting, of all things, homosexual discharges in the US Navy. http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/natsec/RL30113.pdf One has to wonder if the counters get wet or diseased during these 'discharge' tallies. We'll check with Steve (...kiss me, Horatio) Lare when time allows. mike |

But today's occupational instruction must be far more detailed and technical, requiring career education and training far beyond high school, if the US is to stay competitive with the rest of the world. Top needs include: Technological repair, robotics, CAD, IT networking & security, advanced math, and info management skills. We need more of those degrees than we do poetry majors.
