Tried 6270, but no luck.

Anyone know of any other, non-encrypted, English, broadcasts from
Egypt/Cairo ?

Do they tend to re-broadcast from, e.g., Canada, or are they "usually"
direct ?

They are direct on 6270 kHz (best carrier strength) in English from
0200 UTC to around 0330 UTC but very seldom do they have any audible
audio modulation. The night before last (where the audio was decent)
appears to have been a fluke and last night it was back to nil on
voice modulation except for some of the music which made it through.

You can try the other frequencies. Here is a text schedule from NASWA:
