Solar Flux 107 - For the first time in Cycle 24, the official daily
solar flux number measured in Penticton, BC closed above 100. The solar
flux of 107 is the highest since September 2005. The last time the solar
flux finished above 100 was in December 2006.

This is great news - but it's also obvious that radio blackouts are
occuring as well, and on a surgical scale - a station can be there one
minute, and gonzo the next...and then back again five minutes later.

Radio Ronin is booming in on 6950 kHz AM @ 0000 UTC.

Last night I was running fairly low power on a 40 meter worked all
states net and someone in the Ukraine heard me and gave me a call when
the net started. Even better times are coming.
