have a clock and it is easy to remove the dial face, or even leave the
dial face off, put the hands back on there.Still easy enough to see what
time it is.

Some hands/pointers glow in the dark . May be they still have that
radium or phosphorus paint on them . New watches use tritium . Just
wonder how long this will be allowed untill found to be hazardous as
well ...
