Can anyone elbaorate on this a bit? Thanks ~ Bruce Jensen Go to the Caig Laboratory website, and look for material for cleaning and lubricating sliding connections. Faderlube Spray or FaderLube Needle Dispenser are the two products that come immediately to mind. The different formulations between DeOxit and FaderLube are due to the nature of the metal contacts found in switches, which are cleaned with an oleic acid, and the conductive plastic/carbon composite compounds in faders which are cleaned with less aggressive solvents and require more lubrication than cleaning. I would never spray anything into a linear attenuator. |
