Try a 6500 Kelvin DAYLIGHT (not cool white, not warm white), it is a
blue white light which makes the ~2700 Kelvin fluorescent look like old
yellowed pages from a book ...

I found out by using these on fish tanks, increased plant growth, more
vivid colors in the fish, etc. Always insist on DAYLIGHT fluorescent!

Try it, you'll like it!

on Electricity over the older Tungsten Filament based
Incandescent Bulbs.

I personally love the CFL bulbs. In the long run I've saved a lot of
money with them, spared myself the irritation of having to replace
bulbs all the time, and I get zero radio interference from them.

Not to mention the lower heating of the house and requiring less cooling
to remove, and the costs involved.

I haven't counted them, but I reckon as how I have enought G.E.60 Watt
Light Bulbs to last me about ten or fifteen or twenty years, or more.
My old buddy would say, They will last you the rest of your Life! I
think he would be right too.
