Could be just gray line propagation, but sounded like a local. He was just calling CQ so I figured I would call without the amplifier. Came back with a 55 report. He also said he was beaming over the north pole, so that is a shorter path for me and probably accounts for the good signal strength into Michigan. Jim (MI) |
