But enough about *the present*.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - It is writen when they ring in their new Age of Aquarius on December 21,2012 Its going to be worse than the past! How can you know? Just because "it's written"? The December 21st date in 2012 is derived from the Mayan calendars which do not specifically or even allegorically allude to an "Age of Aquarius". The 'ages' of the zodiac, if consisting of 12 signs, are approximately 2160 years long based on the precession of the equinoxes. The precession rate is about 1 degree per 72 years. If the beginning of the "Age of Aquarius" is 2012, then the "Age of Pisces" would have commenced around 48 BCE. It is possible (the timing). Most likely the "Age of Aquarius" marks a reversal in the polarity of the 'Great Year' (25,920 - 26,000 years), as indicated by the Egyptian Sphinx - it would be a point that is about 13,000 years after the "Age of Leo" marked the spring equinox. If the zodiac being considered consists of 13 signs rather than 12, then the length of each 'age' would be somewhat shorter, just under 2000 years. That is also possible (the timing). There really is no reason to assume that *Freemasons* or even *Knights Templar* ever wrote anything concerning the date of December 21, 2012 unless you are suggesting pre-Columbian contact, and knowledge (and correct interpretation) of the Mayan calendars - since both groups actually existed before 1492. *Or* perhaps you're trying to say that this precise date was non- arbitrarily selected as a catastrophic 'end point' by two separate groups of people on both sides of the Atlantic ocean, indicating a well-hidden awareness of a planetary cycle, and one that was not held exclusively by people in either the western or eastern hemisphere. Is that what you're suggesting? Sure it is. And in that case, you may be on to something. (gawd, i'm ornery...)
