Some FSK at around 50 baud is to be heard on the HF spectrum these days.
Almost none of it is the start-stop radioteletype that was much to be
heard 50 years ago. So I'm curious who is still using FSK and why?

Are you sure you don't mean PSK?

BPSK31 is very popular. Here's a quick and dirty way to get decoding in
a few minutes with junk lying around your desk.

I'm not picking on them. I am merely cautioning people that all you need
is a way to get audio from your radio to your soundcard (e.g. 3.5mm Male
to Male interconnect; RCA to 3.5mm adapter; whatever's appropriate
mechanically).

It helps to get the input level to the soundcard right. My new laptop
came with a microphone preamp enabled by default which resulted in
overdriving of the soundcard when I plugged the rig in.

I suggest fldigi software. It works fine and it doesn't
cost a nickel. Installs in seconds.

fldigi doesn't decode SITOR though. I haven't found any freeware which
does it as well as my old KAM+ in LAMTOR mode.

It'll do weather faxes from Pt. Reyes.
