Users who buy systems that allow secure boot to be disabled, but only Microsoft's key installed, will have to give up the rootkit protection secure boot offers if they want to run unsigned operating systems or drivers. Again, enterprise IT professionals should let their OEMs know that they want the choice and control in their own hands, and not in the operating system vendor's. You shouldn't have to give up the benefits of secure boot to have authority over your own fleet of PCs. This is the first I have heard of it! I really can't imagine a moron/idiot/imbecile/etc. stoopid enough to purchase it, but they keep coming out with upgrades daily, it seems, not of hardware -- but I mean MORONS! Like nancy said, just say NO! We used to do free classes in installing/using Linux, I have participated in many on the local Jr. college campuses here ... I guess that has been stopped? *Time to re-start that! *With Ubuntu any windows idiot can use linux ... immediately, out of the box! *And, not only is it just as good (except for most games, but then you can usually wine the older ones), it is fooking free!
