It is a form of false advertisement, as you are implying by having a mimimum bid that if a buyer bids the minimum, and no one else bids, they can buy the item for that price. Hidden reserve prices say that you really won't accept the minumum bid you advertised, and you aren't even going to tell anyone what it was. IMHO a dishonest seller and should be avoided. Each reserve auction has "RESERVE PRICE NOT YET MET" in big red letters until it has been met. |
