I don't know about Winders, but there are plenty of free CAD programs for
linux that not only do pictorials and schematics, but some actually model
the circuit performance. Again, free.

Sure. All this one does is to enable posting of schematics over usenet.
The recipients don't need the originating program or operating system
to view your handy work. For that use, it's about the only one out there.

I don't think my newsreader is ascii, although I may be able to get it to
dumb down. When I send it looks like a typewriter, but I receive in
normal proportionately spaced modern font.

I don't think I've ever felt the need to share a circuit diagram. Making
one on a typewriter seems like it was invented by a speed freak. Thanks.
