![]() "BeamMeUpScotty" wrote in message ... *Amendment I* ["Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"] How did *CONGRESS* pass that law that bans religion in a school? Congress is clearly told NOT to pass laws that limit/ban religious expression. I see Nothing that limits the States power or ability to ban prayer in schools, but *CONGRESS* did it unconstitutionally instead. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't remember CONgress having anything to do with banning prayer in schools. IIRC, it was a SCOTUS decision in the case of Madelyn Murray O'Hare in 1963. |
