After searching around I have determined it was a Cuban "cut number"
transmission.
It was so strong I was receiving it on my rxvr with the antenna

I am monitoring a s-9 audio morse code transmission on about 5.799 MHz
It is not a CW signal as no BFO is needed to hear it. It is a
scrambled/coded transmission and appears to be random letters but is not
5 letter groups.
Any ideas???

that frequency which stopped at 0655.- Hide quoted text -
