We used to sneak on board the vessel with flashlights for our tours. Quite an impressive ship. Damn big gun turrets (16 inch guns). My brother in law was in the U.S. Air Force, untill my older brother talked him into joining the Mississippi Army National Guard.Brother in law is a retired Colonel now.

Naval Construction Battalion Center. Gulfport, Mississippi. DuckDuckGo.com and typee, Seabee Base in Gulfport Mississippi. There is also a Navy Flight School near Meridian, Mississippi. For such a backwater hick State Missy Sippy does have it's share of Military Bases.. Backwater Hicks R US, and DO wear shoes.
