Exposed: Inside the NSA’s Largest and Most Expansive Secret Domestic Spy Center in Bluffdale, Utah
"A new exposé in Wired Magazine reveals details about how the National
Security Agency is quietly building the largest spy center in the country in Bluffdale, Utah, as part of a secret NSA surveillance program codenamed "Stellar Wind." We speak with investigative reporter James Bamford, who says the NSA has established listening posts throughout the nation to collect and sift through billions of email messages and phone calls, whether they originate within the country or overseas. The Utah spy center will contain near-bottomless databases to store all forms of communication collected by the agency. This includes the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails — parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases and other digital "pocket litter." "The NSA has constantly denied that they’re doing things, and then it turns out they are doing these things," Bamford says in response to NSA Director General Keith Alexander’s denial yesterday that U.S. citizens’ phone calls and emails are being intercepted. "A few years ago, President Bush said before camera that the United States is not eavesdropping on anybody without a warrant, and then it turns out that we had this exposure to all the warrantless eavesdropping in the New York Times article. And so, you have this constant denial and parsing of words." Watch the complete interview at http://www.democracynow.org/2012/3/2...as_largest_and Good stuff, this is what REAL not FAUX journalism is. |

I recall reading "The Puzzle Palace" by James Bamford back in 1982 or so. The CIA computers (massive Cray machines) were simply programmed to look for "key words", perhaps like bomb, assassinate, etc., and then an alert to look at those things to determine whether there was some possible threat or not. dxAce Michigan USA |

In fact, it is very naive to trust the Secret Police period. With every good wish, Kevin Alfred Strom. -- http://nationalvanguard.org/ http://kevinalfredstrom.com/ |

They lied in a hundred different ways. I pled to something I did not do so I could be a dad to my kids again, instead of never seeing them again before I die. I did so with the knowledge that the great unwashed would judge me harshly, but also knowing that the more intelligent people would understand that plea deals in our corrupt federal court system have about as much relation to reality as horseradish does to horses. This is worth reading too: http://www.kevinalfredstrom.com/2012...-my-innocence/ I don't go out with large numbers of women (though I do go out again and again with the ones I really like), but the last three delightful charmers I've been privileged to see were 23, 30, and 34 respectively.
