Heard on the radio news this morning that Senator Cruz (R-Tex) gave up
his Canadian citizenship. Within a few minutes, all his cronies are
saying this is wonderful news and that Cruz can run for president
because he is now considered a "natural born citizen"

He can't. He needs to have been born in this country to run for
President.

One would think so. Other than that there may be a provision for someone
born to an employee of the government on service in a foreihn country. Not
sure about that.

It has to be on American "soil". Can mean vessel flying the flag,
military outpost, embassy, etc. Not subcontracting for an American oil
company in Canada. His mother chose to move to Canada, for whatever
reason, and should bear the consequences.

Cruz is the biggest phony in the Senate.

Dirty Harry is pretty genuinely dinge-ey. Cruz is a snake-oil salesman.

Well, I don't know about "phony", but he sure is a MAJOR LEAGUE HYPOCRITE!

Please view the newsreel of him at the Veteran's Memorial (that was
closed because of the government shutdown) telling the vets there how
horrible it was that the evil government shut the place down.

He seems to have "overlooked" the fact that he was the major architect
of said government shutdown.

Hypocrite, indeed...
