popularmechanics.com Battery blows up and destroys NASA robot ...It went, KABLOOEY!!! Look at that fire and smoke.Damn no good Lithium-ion batteries. I despise them.

There is a firm here in town called LGChem, they make Lithium-ion batteries apparently for cars. They've been doing quite a bit of hiring lately. I'm not certain that the technology will totally take
off, we'll see.

I once read somewhere a few years ago that the mix/mixture of whatever is used in manufacturing Lithium-ion batteries must be very, very pure, or there could be 'problems'. I Don't like Lithium-ion batteries!
