You can't figure out how to key a regen so you can transmit/recieve with
one active device? Sheesh!

so I use local VHF instead.
I will keep on jamming licenced hams with every way possible, including
sabotage of their installations where possible.

Sabotage? Again, you're overlooking the obvious. Don't destroy it,
STEAL IT!!

That will teach them a
good lesson not to mess with radio pirates.

Indeed. Radio Pirates. The Biker Gangs of the New kYear.

If you're on a strict budget, a homebrew spark gap transmitter would be
affordable.

Well a buzzer is simpler, and does about the same thing.

Addiction comes easily to Birgus Latro. The crab has been a
menace to gin swilling navigators for 80 years.

I used a double pole relay. The budget constrained radio pirate must
make do with what's available. Tuned circuits and antennas can be
scrounged from construction debris.

But a buzzer is good. A doorbell is problematic.
